2024-2025 Scholarship cycle will open May 1, 2024

Winners will be announced on August 5, 2024.

The Patricia Ann Watkins Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.

A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a female High School senior or a female who is currently enrolled in college. The student must exemplify scholastic excellence by maintaining a 3.0 GPA in studies. Also, the student must have financial hardship evident by low income or eligible for financial aid assistance. To apply for this scholarship, one must fill out the entry questionnaire available at www.DBTYSF.com and submit an essay minimum of 500 words of what motivates them, their plans once graduating from their respective program, and what makes them a worthy candidate to receive this scholarship. The essay can be submitted to DBTYSFoundation@gmail.com

The Carmen D Watkins Scholarship for $1,000

A $1,000 scholarship awarded to a single parent or non-traditional student (age 24 years and older) who is currently enrolled in college. The student must exemplify scholastic excellence by maintaining a 3.0 GPA in studies. Also, the student must have financial hardship evident by low income or eligible for financial aid assistance. To apply for this scholarship, one must fill out the entry questionnaire available at www.DBTYSF.com and submit an essay minimum of 500 words of what motivates them, their plans once graduating from their respective program, and what makes them a worthy candidate to receive this scholarship.
